Bingen–Rüdesheim Car Ferry
We highly recommend travelling by environmentally friendly means, such as by train, whenever possible.
Book Your Ticket
The nearest train station, Bingen Stadt, is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Bingen (Rhein) Hauptbahnhof (main station) is approximately 3 km away.
For guests arriving by car, our P1 hotel car park offers three EV charging stations with Type 2 connectors.
All guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are either on the ground floor or easily accessible by lift.
We also offer a selection of accessible rooms designed to ensure a comfortable stay. Our Reservations Team will be happy to advise you on the available options and help you find the accommodation that best suits your needs.
You can check in to your room or suite from 3:00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you're welcome to leave your luggage with us and start enjoying your stay.
Guest rooms and suites are available until 11:00 am on your day of departure.
Tip: To avoid waiting at reception during check-out, we recommend settling your bill either before breakfast or on the evening before your departure.
Late Check-out
(Subject to availability and upon request)
- Check-out until 12:00 pm: €25.00
- Each additional hour: €10.00
- Check-out until 4:00 pm: €69.00
- For departures after 4:00 pm, the full room rate will be charged.
Ten EV charging stations are available in the neighbouring underground car park for an additional charge. Please note that both access to and parking in the underground car park are subject to parking fees.
Payment can be made by SEPA direct debit or credit card. The charging rate is €0.79 per kWh.
A Type 2 charging cable is required.
Bike Hire
At our hotel shop or reception, you can rent not only standard bicycles (€8.00 per bike, per day), but also My Esel e-bikes for day trips:

Bike Garage
Our secure, weather-protected bike garage provides a safe place to store your bicycle during your stay. Charging facilities for e-bikes are also available.
Please note that, for safety reasons, e-bike batteries must not be stored or charged inside the hotel building.
Tip: With our partner Bike-Service-Bingen, you can reserve an e-bike online in advance and have it delivered directly to the hotel for your convenience.
Our new fitness studio is open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and is equipped with the latest Technogym® equipment.
Alternatively, enjoy a swim in our 20-metre heated outdoor pool or our 15-metre indoor pool in the Hafenspa. If you prefer to exercise outdoors, the riverside promenade offers kilometres of scenic running routes along the Rhine towards Koblenz.
Our generous breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in the Bootshaus restaurant.
For the most relaxed breakfast experience, we recommend joining us between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. After 9:00 am, it can become a little busier. On Sundays, we invite you to enjoy our late-riser breakfast, served until 12:00 noon.
*Guests staying in our suites can enjoy an exclusive breakfast on the LIDO Deck every weekend from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.

Bootshaus
The Bootshaus is open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, serving an à la carte menu.
For dinner, the Bootshaus is open Tuesday to Saturday, offering a seasonal three-course set menu with a choice of dishes. Dinner reservations are available in two seatings:
- First seating: 5:30 pm
- Second seating: 8:00 pm
Our tip: We highly recommend reserving your dinner table in advance. For lunch, you're welcome to drop by without a reservation. On public holidays and long weekends, we also recommend booking ahead for lunch.
LIDO
The LIDO restaurant is open Thursday to Monday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Look forward to a delicious selection of Italian favourites, including antipasti, freshly prepared pasta, stone-baked pizza and creamy tiramisu – authentic Italian flavours at Papa Rhein.
Dinner reservations are also available in two seatings:
- First seating: 5:30 pm
- Second seating: 8:00 pm
Bars
The Bootshaus Bar is open Thursday to Monday from 5:00 pm.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our LIDO Bar is open from 12:00 noon to midnight.

We want your four-legged companion to feel just as welcome as you do. That's why we provide everything your dog needs for a comfortable stay – from food and water bowls and a cosy dog bed to waste bags for long walks along the Rhine.
Dogs are welcome at Papa Rhein for an additional €29 per night (food not included).
Certified assistance dogs accompanying guests with a disability are, of course, welcome free of charge.
To ensure we can prepare everything for your arrival, please let us know when making your reservation if you plan to travel with your dog.
Families & Children
Baby cots are always provided free of charge, and children aged 0–3 years stay with us free of charge.
For children staying on a sofa bed or in the bunk bed of the Cheers Suite, we charge €39.00 per child, per night, including breakfast (up to and including 13 years of age).
Children's Breakfast
- Children aged 0–3 years sharing their parents' bed enjoy breakfast free of charge.
- For children aged 4–13 years, breakfast is €9.00 per child.
- Guests aged 14 years and over are charged the full adult rate.
Spa Access
Children up to the age of 14 are welcome to use the sauna area daily until 12:00 noon, provided they are accompanied by their parents. Under parental supervision, children are also welcome to enjoy our swimming pools.
Our Tip
Our Little Explorer Suites are ideal for families and feature a separate children's room with a bunk bed. Accommodation in the bunk bed is already included in the room rate. Breakfast is €9.00 per child.
The night entrance is located to the left of the main entrance. Simply use your room key card to unlock the door.
As a hotel guest, you can park free of charge in our P1 and P2 car parks. Please have the parking ticket you receive at the entrance barrier validated at the hotel reception for the duration of your stay.
Please note that parking in the neighbouring underground car park is subject to a charge.
Kindly note that parking spaces in P1, P2, and the neighbouring underground car park cannot be reserved.

Our tip: We recommend adding our Travel Protection for €10.00 per room, per night. It can be selected directly when booking through our website. (Please note that this option is not available for bookings during holiday periods such as Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter, and other public holidays.)
For €10.00 per booked room, per night, your cancellation costs are covered in the event of an accident, illness, or other serious personal circumstances affecting the person who made the reservation, their children, siblings, parents, or grandparents.
Please note that Travel Protection is not available for group bookings of seven or more guests.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The date on which we receive your cancellation request is decisive.
Individual Bookings (up to 6 guests)
Cancellations or booking changes are free of charge up to 8 days before arrival, unless otherwise stated in the booking conditions (e.g. Non-Flexible Rate).
Group Bookings (7 guests or more)
Cancellations or booking changes for the entire group allocation are free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival.
After these deadlines, the following cancellation charges apply, depending on the services booked:
- 80% of the accommodation costs
- 80% of all other booked services
In these cases, vouchers cannot be issued and the amount cannot be credited towards a future stay.
Voucher Option
As an alternative, we offer a voucher option. By paying 100% of the accommodation costs and 100% of all additional booked services, you will receive a voucher for the full amount, valid for 3 years, which can be redeemed for a future stay.
Early Departure, No-show & Same-day Cancellation
In the event of an early departure, no-show without prior cancellation, or cancellation on the day of arrival, the full booking amount will be charged. In these cases, vouchers cannot be issued and the amount cannot be credited towards a future stay.
Instead of a minibar in your room, you'll find our Trust Bar on the LIDO Deck (Level 4). Simply use your room key card to access it.
Help yourself to whatever you like, then simply record your name, room number, and the items you've taken on the list provided.
Guests staying in our suites also enjoy the convenience of an in-room minibar and coffee machine.
